NSHSF Special Projects Coordinator Sue Quambusch. Sue Quambusch is an Omaha native who owned and operated a successful printing business for nearly 30 years. She did not want to “retire” so worked at the Lincoln Parks Foundation for 2 years before joining the staff of the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation in the summer of 2017.
She enjoys doing any task that needs to be done around the office, working primarily for Lori as the Administrative Assistant, but also helping Leslie and Tony with whatever they may need.
Sue has four children and 9 grandchildren. Her fiancé, Len Sloup has 2 children and 4 grandchildren, so they have a lot of fun visiting family whenever they can. Her hobbies include volunteering, traveling, gardening, reading and knitting.
She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA) in Kearney, the Capital Humane Society in Lincoln and is on the Board of Advisors for Civic Nebraska. Sue also volunteers for Community Action/Head Start in Lincoln.
